Makerspace Assistant

Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Engineering (any discipline)

Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in a similar domain are welcome to apply.

About the Role:

InUnity is seeking a proactive and hands-on Makerspace Assistant to support our innovation space in Belagavi. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about prototyping, maker culture, and supporting young innovators in turning ideas into impactful solutions. You'll be responsible for maintaining the makerspace environment, supporting users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in rapid prototyping tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and 3D CAD modeling software
• Basic knowledge of electronics and programming microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
• Familiarity with lab safety standards and operational protocols
• Strong skills in documentation, record-keeping, and inventory management

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure cleanliness and safety of the makerspace work area
• Assist in administrative tasks and daily operations of the makerspace
• Prepare and manage project documentation, equipment logs, and other records
• Organize and coordinate materials and logistics for workshops, lectures, and innovation sessions
