Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance operations of facility machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The responsibilities include developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, managing a maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with other departments to support operational efficiency and production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for heavy engineering and industrial tools
• Experience in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and maintenance planning
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols for manufacturing and engineering environments
• Proven leadership and team management skills to guide the maintenance team effectively
• Project management capabilities and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to industrial machinery
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Previous experience in the automobile, oil & gas, energy, or a similar heavy engineering sector is preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for process improvement
• Familiarity with maintenance software and tools for tracking and scheduling work
