Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure efficient plant operations, improve productivity, and optimize maintenance costs.
- Establish and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standard operating practices across the facility.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance performance reports to monitor team effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work orders, ensuring proper prioritization of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections and supervise maintenance work to ensure quality, reliability, and safety compliance.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of maintenance personnel while continuously developing the capabilities of the existing team.
- Ensure all plant equipment and machinery are maintained in safe and optimal working condition.
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance programs with proper advance planning to reduce downtime.
- Drive initiatives to minimize equipment breakdowns in terms of frequency and repair time.
- Coordinate maintenance operations including safety procedures, service schedules, and availability of required materials and spare parts.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Required Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in plant maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with thermal processing or similar equipment will be considered an advantage.
