Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support the service and maintenance operations of physical security and ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and related electronic security solutions, across client sites in the APAC region. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system monitoring to ensure high system uptime, compliance with safety standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other ELV systems at client sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain high system reliability.
- Monitor system health through alarm logs, analytics, and remote monitoring tools; escalate and resolve issues proactively.
- Support system installations, upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration enhancements in coordination with the global technical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, and asset inventories.
- Respond to service requests and ensure timely resolution of incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement, AMC support, and technical escalations.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist the maintenance manager with budgeting, inventory planning, and performance reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering fields.
- 24 years of hands-on experience in maintaining CCTV, fire alarm, access control, intrusion detection, and other ELV/physical security systems.
- Working knowledge of Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, or other leading access control and surveillance platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle client interactions effectively.
Working Conditions
- Direct involvement with sensitive physical security systems and data; high level of confidentiality required.
- Regular use of laptops, diagnostic tools, and mobile devices; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT tools required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across client sites within the APAC region.
