Job Summary
To ensure smooth operation of all plant machinery, utilities, and equipment by planning and executing preventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance activities and maintain minimum stock of spare parts to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Responsibilities but not limited to,
A] Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance for all machines and utilities.
- Attend to equipment breakdowns and restore operation in minimum possible time.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime, and spares usage.
B] Troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in machines.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
C] Equipment & Utility Management
- Maintain machines like CNC, SPM, VMC, Heavy SPM, Automatic Forging Machine, Lathe Machine, Lathe CNC, Leakage Testing Machines, brazing machines, fixture, jigs, Gas Furnace, Electric Foundry, Pumps etc.
- Ensure smooth operation of utilities Air compressors, Cooling towers, DG sets, etc.
D] Spares & Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain stock of critical spares.
- Raise indents for required tools, spares, and consumables.
E] Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain equipment history cards, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (EHS) standards.
- Support ISO / 5S audits and documentation.
F] Continuous Improvement
- Participate in improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives in maintenance operations.
G] Team Collaboration & Training
- Provide technical guidance to operators and supervisors.
- Train shopfloor staff on autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate, B.E preferred
Experience: 2 3 years experience in relevant field
Other Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
Language: English & Hindi
