Role: Manage uptime of machinery, build new infrastructure in a cost efficient way
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures: The maintenance engineer is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures that ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment: The maintenance engineer is responsible for troubleshooting equipment problems and determining the root cause of malfunctions. They may use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues.
- Schedule maintenance activities: The maintenance engineer is responsible for scheduling regular maintenance activities, such as inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate maintenance activities: The maintenance engineer work with other teams, such as production or quality control, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production downtime.
- Ensure compliance with regulations: The maintenance engineer is responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, such as safety or environmental regulations.
- Manage spare parts inventory: The maintenance engineer is responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts and ensuring that necessary parts are available when needed.
- Train maintenance staff: The maintenance engineer responsible for training other maintenance staff and ensuring that they are knowledgeable about the equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records: The maintenance engineer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement: The maintenance engineer responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor equipment performance: The maintenance engineer responsible for monitoring equipment performance and making recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or BE/Btech
- 2+ yrs in Maintenance role
- Good problem solving
- Hands on approach
