Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and service contracts.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, statutory regulations, and environmental norms.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high reliability and safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance plant efficiency and energy savings.
Skills Required
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems (HVAC, compressors, transformers, etc.).
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Ability to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Leadership and team management skills with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Vendor management and negotiation skills for service contracts and spare parts procurement.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance related to plant maintenance and safety.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Adaptability to fast-paced manufacturing environments and renewable energy sector practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or renewable energy.
