1. Mainframe Test Engineer (6+ Yrs) Hyderabad/ Bangalore

Role Overview

Conduct comprehensive mainframe testing including batch and online components; work closely with developers and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Mainframe testing of batch jobs and online programs.
• Validate and verify COBOL programs.
• Validate DB2 database outputs and write/execute SQL queries.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in batch processing logs/spool.
• Log, track defects using JIRA / Test Management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile testing cycles.

Required Skills

• 6+ years in Mainframe Testing / QA.
• Strong DB2 and COBOL knowledge.
• Good understanding of mainframe batch processes & debugging.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Familiarity with TSO/ISPF and job control language (JCL).
