Job Description

Mainframe Tester / Mainframe Test Engineer

Extensive experience in Mainframe Testing across various application development and maintenance projects.
Strong hands-on experience with COBOL for analyzing, validating, and testing business logic.
Proficient in JCL (Job Control Language) for batch job execution, scheduling, debugging, and validation.
Experience working with CICS for online transaction processing and testing of interactive mainframe applications.
Knowledge of IBM MQ (MQ Series) for message-based integration and end-to-end testing.
Hands-on experience with Db2 for z/OS, including SQL query validation, data verification, and backend testing.
Skilled in test case design, execution, defect tracking, regression testing, integration testing, and production support activities.
Ability to analyze requirements, validate data flows, and ensure application quality in complex mainframe environments.

Core Skills: Mainframe Testing, COBOL, JCL, CICS, IBM MQ, Db2 for z/OS, SQL, Test Execution, Defect Management, Regression Testing, Integration Testing.
