Job Description:
Mandatory:
- COBOL, CICS, VSAM, Database (IMS or DB2), JCL, DFSORT/ICETOOL, ENDEVOR, Xpeditor, API programming, Online integration using web services (JSON/XML) & MQ, File transfer methods (MQ, SFTP), ADO, and Agile methodologies
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and able to work with multiple teams/stakeholders across geographies
- Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in developing COBOL/JCL batch programs, CICS online screens & web services with IMS DB/DB2/VSAM as backend
- Solution to a technical or business problem and prepare relevant documentation
- UT test cases & execution
- Code review
- Independent testing (ST/SIT/OAT/UAT/UVT) Support
- Batch execution for testing cycles
- Implementation and post-implementation support
Preferred Skills:
- IMS DB experience preferred
- Integration: NDM, Solace, MinIO
- Banking Domain / Trade Finance
- Mainframe modernization experience
