Mainframe Developers

We are seeking experienced Mainframe Developers to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in mainframe technologies and will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical applications that support our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Analyze existing mainframe applications for performance improvements and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to system design, processes, and user manuals.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming language.
• Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) for job submission and scheduling.
• Knowledge of DB2 for database management and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with mainframe tools such as CICS and VSAM.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
