TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer.
Experience: 6 - 12 Years
Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th and Graduation)
Location: Chennai.
Notice period:- Immediate joiners/ 30 days-45 days.
- Skillset : COBOL, JCL (Microfocus Optional)
- Database : DB2/SQL Server (Optional - IMS)
- Concepts : Checkpoint restart (DB2/IMS), GSAM file processing
- Knowledge on batch scheduler and batch flow processing (preferred - Control-M scheduler).
- Worked in online transaction flow, performed debug and analysis of abends to find root cause
- Able to troubleshoot issues, perform deep dive analyses on the call flow across multiple Cobol programs, perform development/code corrections and test/debug COBOL programs.
- Awareness to .Net technologies will be added advantage
- Good understanding on Agile/Scrum model
