Mainframe Developer

Greetings,

TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer.

Experience: 5 - 9 Years

Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th and Graduation)

Location: Chennai

Notice period:- Immediate joiners/ 30 days.

Requirements & Skills:

• 6 to 12 years of working experience in Mainframe (Cobol) Development and Maintenance
• Skillset : COBOL, JCL (Microfocus Optional)
• Database : DB2/SQL Server (Optional - IMS)
• Concepts : Checkpoint restart (DB2/IMS), GSAM file processing
• Knowledge on batch scheduler and batch flow processing (preferred - Control-M scheduler).
• Worked in online transaction flow, performed debug and analysis of abends to find root cause
• Able to troubleshoot issues, perform deep dive analyses on the call flow across multiple Cobol programs, perform development/code corrections and test/debug COBOL programs.
• Awareness to .Net technologies will be added advantage
• Good understanding on Agile/Scrum model
