Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in PL/I, JCL, and database systems like IDMS and DB2. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and a solid understanding of SDLC processes within both traditional and agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate extensive expertise in mainframe technologies such as PL/I, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
Apply advanced understanding of IDMS and DB2 databases and related tools for efficient system development and maintenance.
Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Jira for automation and version control.
Develop and manage pipelines for CI/CD processes to streamline software delivery.
Work with IDz IDE and other development tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Perform Impact Analysis and Work Package Estimation for complex PL/I applications.
Design and implement RESTful services, with a good understanding of SOAP and REST concepts.
Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and best practices.
Work efficiently in both Traditional and Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
