Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mainframe Developer/Lead to join our team, working on projects for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications, particularly in Mainframe environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Mainframe technologies, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Lead and manage a team, facilitating sprint delivery and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Provide automation demonstrations and walkthroughs to client teams, showcasing the capabilities of developed solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA delivery throughout the Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) lifecycle.
- Supervise data and environment coordination to support development and testing activities.
- Conduct automation meetings, providing accurate and timely status updates to the project team.
- Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Engage in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Mainframe Development with a strong focus on COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Demonstrated experience in Multi team Management and sprint delivery within an Agile environment.
- Ability to provide automation demos and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, story points, and daily status calls.
- Experience in leading automation meetings and coordinating project schedules.
- Familiarity with data and environment coordination practices.
- Excellent oral communication and Presentation Skills.
