Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mainframe applications in a fast-paced Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL, JCL, and DB2-based applications on IBM Mainframe systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Work on application performance tuning and production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Provide support for batch jobs, incident resolutions, and system Skills :
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM.
- Hands-on experience with Mainframe Tools like Endevor, File-AID, Abend-AID, and Expeditor.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in production support, job monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal to Have :
- Experience with REXX, IMS, or Assembler.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools integration in Mainframe.
- Familiarity with Cloud migration of Mainframe :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
