We are seeking
experienced Mainframe Developers with
hands-on Raincode platform experience for critical mainframe re-hosting and migration projects. Work onsite in premium tech hubs to analyze, develop, and migrate COBOL/CICS/DB2 applications using modern migration tools and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and maintain mainframe batch and online applications (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM)
- Conduct impact analysis for change requests and technical design specifications
- Implement enhancements following SDLC best practices
- Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis, troubleshooting, and fixes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams
- Raincode platform code modifications, compilation, debugging, and unit testing
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory Mainframe: COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM (3+ years hands-on)
Migration Platform: Raincode (code conversion, compilation, testing)
Development: Batch/online components, impact analysis, SDLC
Good-to-Have: IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler, Datacom, REXX/CLIST
