Mainframe Developer - Custom Statement Formatter (CSF)

Project Description:

The role supports Core Banking Engineering Services by developing and maintaining statement generation capabilities using Custom Statement Formatter (CSF). The developer will customize and format financial statements such as account statements, bills, and notices while ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data. The role requires strong expertise in mainframe technologies and the ability to work with financial data structures, integrate systems, and support business communication requirements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain statement generation solutions using Custom Statement Formatter (CSF).

Customize and format financial documents such as account statements, billing statements, and customer notices.

Manipulate and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with formatting standards.

Work with mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to support statement processing workflows.

Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand formatting and communication requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to statement formatting, data integration, and processing.

Support system integrations, migrations, and enhancements related to customer communication platforms.

Maintain documentation related to statement formats, configurations, and development activities.

Mandatory Skills Description:

10+ Years of experience in a similar role.

Strong experience with Custom Statement Formatter (CSF).

Expertise in mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

Good understanding of financial data structures and banking terminology.

Experience in data manipulation and formatting of structured financial information.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of financial statements and customer communications.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to statement formatting and processing.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Experience with customer communication management (CCM) tools.

Experience in system integration and migration initiatives.

Experience in technical documentation and solution design.

Exposure to banking or financial services platforms.
