Mainframe Developer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have 8-13 years of experience in mainframe development and be familiar with various mainframe technologies and programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application issues
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mainframe development

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-13 years of experience in mainframe development
• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies and programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
• Experience with mainframe tools such as TSO, ISPF, and SDSF
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting mainframe applications
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
