Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, and optimize midrange applications primarily written in C on AIX/RISC systems
• Work extensively with IBM servers, DB2, and Unix-based environments to ensure smooth operations and performance
• Serve as a subject matter expert in C programming for AIX and Unix applications
• Troubleshoot and maintain networking configurations in Unix/AIX systems for high availability and performance
• Collaborate with teams to monitor, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications
• Provide guidance and support for system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
• Ensure adherence to best practices in system administration, coding, and network management
• Document processes and provide technical support to stakeholders
