Mainframe Automation Testing

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts for software projects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Create, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases with a strong focus on Database and SQL validations.
• Apply expertise in Facets to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early identification of defects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective testing solutions.
• Analyze test results and prepare clear, detailed reports highlighting defects and improvement areas.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Ensure adherence to established testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Work with developers to resolve identified defects and support timely software releases.
• Track and monitor testing progress while providing regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing to confirm alignment with business requirements.
• Mentor junior testers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality focus.
• Leverage domain knowledge in Program Management to align testing deliverables with project goals.
• Support the adoption and implementation of new testing tools, frameworks, and technologies.
