Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Assembler Expert with hands-on expertise in IBM assembler language and low-level system programming. The ideal candidate will have strong debugging skills and experience with mainframe tools to support and maintain critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain programs using IBM Assembler Language (HLASM).
Write, debug, and optimize low-level programs, exit routines, and system utilities.
Perform assembler listing and dump analysis to troubleshoot system issues.
Utilize IBM Debug tool and Fault Analyzer for program diagnostics.
Use SDSF/IPCS tools for monitoring and analyzing mainframe system outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Job Requirements / Candidate Profile:

Strong knowledge of IBM Assembler Instructions, Macros, syntax, and Directives (HLASM).
Hands-on experience in writing and debugging low-level programs and system utilities.
Proficiency with IBM Debug Tool, Fault Analyzer, SDSF, and IPCS.
Ability to perform assembler listing and dump analysis for troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
