Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mahila Career Advisor, based in Kurnool. The Mahila Career Advisor will be responsible for providing career counseling to individuals, students, and women looking to manage and develop their professional personas. Daily tasks include conducting career assessments, offering career development guidance, creating action plans, providing advice on employment opportunities, and assisting with career transitions. As part of the LIC team, the advisor will contribute to creating a positive impact in the lives of people by guiding them towards sustainable careers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
- Experience with Student Counseling and providing guidance for educational and career decisions
- Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of local job markets and industry trends
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in career advising or a similar role is an advantage
