Adobe Commerce Frontend Developer (Magento 2 – Luma Theme)
Remote | Full-Time | 4–6 Years Experience
We're in the final stages of migrating our eCommerce site from Shopify to Adobe Commerce Cloud Pro (Magento 2), with the base build handled by a certified SI using the Luma theme. We're now looking to bring in an experienced Frontend Developer to own all frontend enhancements, maintenance, and UI customizations post-handover.
What You'll Do
- Customize and extend the Luma theme to meet business and UX/UI requirements
- Modify PHTML templates, layout XML, and static blocks
- Build responsive, mobile-first designs using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Knockout.js, RequireJS
- Develop custom UI components and CMS blocks
- Integrate and style third-party themes and extensions
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to ensure seamless UI/UX
- Optimize for performance and accessibility across all modern browsers and devices
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 frontend development
- Adobe Commerce Frontend Developer Certification
- Experience in a B2B Adobe Commerce environment
- Deep knowledge of the Luma theme, Magento layout architecture, and Knockout.js
- Strong grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Comfortable working in Adobe Commerce Cloud and Git-based deployment workflows
- Ability to integrate 3rd-party design libraries or UI extensions
