Sr. Magento Developer

Magento Developer (Full-Stack) – Chennai

We're looking for a full-stack Magento 2 developer to build and maintain eCommerce sites for our clients in the AU, UK and EU.

What you'll do

• Build and customise Magento 2 themes, modules and extensions
• Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, APIs)
• Improve site performance, security and scalability
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues quickly
• Work directly with clients abroad: understand requirements, give updates and explain technical decisions clearly
• Use AI coding tools (Claude, Codex or similar) daily to plan, build, debug and ship faster, while reviewing and owning the output

What you'll need

• 2+ years of Magento 2 development, with a portfolio to show
• Strong PHP, MySQL and OOP; custom module development
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout.js, responsive design
• Git, Composer, Magento CLI, Docker, CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development as part of your workflow
• Excellent spoken and written English, and confidence communicating with international clients
• Good grasp of eCommerce, SEO and conversion best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Magento certification a plus)
