What You'll Build
As a Machine Learning / AI Engineer in the Public Cloud AI Developer Efficiency team within Tools & Delivery, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling digital assistants and agentic flows for SAP Public Cloud.
- Build and maintain GenAI-powered digital assistants using LLMs, RAG, and agentic patterns.
- Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and engineers to design and implement digital assistant capabilities on Joule.
- Drive the scalability, reliability, and performance of LLM applications and supporting technologies.
- Implement CI/CD-based automation for deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, preferably using Jenkins.
- Enhance workflows and developer experiences to boost efficiency and overall user satisfaction.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in machine learning, AI engineering, and data science.
- Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, MCP, Agentic AI, Joule, BDC, A2A, and modern MLOps / LLMOps practices.
- Solid expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
- Experience building cloud-native applications, ideally on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Experience in prompt engineering and working with large language models.
- Strong understanding of ML/AI concepts and proficiency in YAML for configuration-driven workflows.
- Knowledge of any functional domainespecially Q2C (Quote-to-Cash)is a plus.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate technical progress and generate business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for collaborative buildingthriving in multidisciplinary environments at the intersection of design, engineering, and business strategy.
