Machine Learning Engineer / AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy algorithms and features to enhance digital products. You'll collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions in a hands-on technical role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and improve AI features using React, Node.js, and Express
• Integrate OpenAI and other LLM APIs to improve conversation quality
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Fine-tune and train models for domain-specific needs
• Develop middleware and pipelines to manage context, user history, and optimize prompts
• Translate user requirements into AI-driven features
• Implement robust testing, evaluation, and monitoring for AI models in production
• Stay current with developments in LLMs and AI tools

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years as a Machine Learning or AI Engineer
• Strong with Node.js, Express, and React
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI or similar APIs
• Experience with recommendation engines, personalization, or user behavior modeling
• Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and embedding-based retrieval (RAG)
• Familiar with Python for data preparation or model training
• Knowledge of tokenization, vector databases, and conversational flow design
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience in health, nutrition, or wellness
• Understanding of data privacy, security, and AI ethics
• Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams
