Job Title: Mac Packaging & JAMF Engineer
Location: India (On-Site)
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement packaging for MacOS applications.
- Manage and maintain JAMF Pro for deployment and management of Apple devices.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure effective MacOS deployments.
- Develop scripts to automate device configurations and deployments.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Optimize system administration practices to enhance performance and reliability.
- Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving for Apple devices.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for processes and procedures.
- Execute inventory management for Apple devices and software.
- Develop training materials for end-users regarding new systems and technologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for project management and implementation.
- Implement security protocols for MacOS environments.
- Monitor and report on system performance and usage metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest MacOS technologies and trends.
- Assist in compliance and regulatory documentation related to IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mac Engineer, specifically with JAMF Pro.
- Strong knowledge of MacOS and its packaging tools.
- Understanding of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability in system administration and network management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and training resources.
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) protocols.
- Experience in managing inventory for IT assets.
- CERTIFICATION in JAMF or equivalent is desirable.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
