Description
We are seeking a skilled M.V. & L.V. Cables Jointer Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of medium and low voltage electrical cables, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair medium voltage (M.V.) and low voltage (L.V.) electrical cables.
- Conduct testing of cables and connections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform fault finding on M.V. and L.V. systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards during all installation and maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-12 years of experience in electrical cable jointing and related fields.
- Proficient in jointing techniques for M.V. and L.V. cables.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with cable testing equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the electrical industry.
