The venture is focused on building a high-quality loose furniture manufacturing setup with a long-term vision of scale, process-driven production, and premium output standards.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager with strong hands-on expertise in loose furniture manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of the production lifecycle—from planning and execution to quality control and delivery—ensuring efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence.
This role requires a shop-floor-driven leader who understands materials, machinery, manpower, and production realities—not just supervision.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Production Ownership
- Manage the complete production process including carpentry, assembly, finishing, upholstery, and dispatch
- Production Planning & Budgeting
- Plan production schedules, optimize capacity, and control costs to meet delivery timelines
- Quality Control & Assurance
- Establish and monitor quality benchmarks across all stages to ensure consistent output
- Team Leadership & Shop Floor Management
- Lead production teams, allocate work, and maintain productivity and discipline
- Process Optimization
- Improve workflows, reduce wastage, and enhance efficiency across operations
- Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a safe and compliant production environment
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with design, procurement, and vendors to ensure smooth production flow
Required Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience exclusively in loose furniture manufacturing (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of materials: solid wood, plywood, veneers, laminates, foam, fabric, and hardware
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end loose furniture production
- Strong organizational and team management skills
- Ability to drive timelines with consistent quality output
- Practical, on-ground problem-solving ability
Screening Criteria (Strict Requirement)- Candidates with only modular furniture experience will not be considered
- Must demonstrate core experience in loose furniture production environments
Additional Advantage (Future Growth Alignment)- Exposure to modular furniture systems will be considered an advantage for future expansion plans
