ProAnalyst is a growing startup offering niche Data & AI solutions for global clients. We're currently supporting projects across BigQuery, Azure SQL, Looker, Tableau, and Sales Analytics and expanding into open-source tools like Superset and Klipfolio. We're looking to enhance our capabilities specifically around Looker to deliver even more impactful insights and robust data models.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Looker / LookML Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a junior professional or an intern looking to gain hands-on experience. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining complex LookML models and creating powerful Looker dashboards and reports for our diverse client base. You'll translate raw data into a well-structured and reusable data layer, ensuring our clients have the information they need to make informed decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied projects and contribute directly to client success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust LookML models to create a single source of truth for our clients data.
• Create and maintain interactive Looker dashboards and reports that meet client requirements and business objectives.
• Connect to various data sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL, APIs) and define relationships and data transformations within LookML.
• Troubleshoot and optimize LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Looker deliverables.
• Assist in sales analytics, lead tracking, or project reporting as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• 0.53 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions with Looker and LookML.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, Azure SQL, or other relational databases).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with various data sources.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking startup environment.

Bonus: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Superset) or Python for data manipulation.

Work Mode & Location

Hybrid role: 3 days Work From Office at BHive Premium Campus, AKR Tech Park, Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru.

Remaining days remote/flexible as per project schedule.

Interview Process

• Online Round SQL and Data Basics (Strictly video monitored & recorded)
• Online Technical Round Looker Development, SQL Basics, and Data Modeling
• Offline Round Open book task to build a Looker-based solution from scratch
• Offline Final Connect Technical & HR Discussion at BHive Premium Campus
