We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Sales Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL and contract logistics, with a proven track record of driving sales and building client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the 3PL and contract logistics sectors.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients about logistics solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales performance metrics.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5-15 years of experience in logistics sales, preferably within the 3PL or contract logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
