We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Sales Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL and contract logistics, with a proven track record of driving sales and building client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the 3PL and contract logistics sectors.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients about logistics solutions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales performance metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5-15 years of experience in logistics sales, preferably within the 3PL or contract logistics industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
