Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented InternationalLogistics Sales and Operations Executive with 13 years of experience in Cross border Sales. The role combines sales growth and day-to-day operations coordination, ensuring smooth movement of goods while driving new business and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in global markets.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and client visits
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and rate cards with prospects.
- Negotiate pricing and service terms to close deals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Follow up for invoice payments, shipment closure and reconciliations.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations (booking, pickup, transportation, delivery)
- Liaise with transporters, warehouses, shipping lines, and vendors
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or shortages
- Ensure proper documentation (invoices, PODs, shipment records)
- Monitor operational costs and support process improvements
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate sales and operations records
- Prepare regular sales and operations reports for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and logistics regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or Completed Bachelor's degree
- 13 years of experience in international logistics sales, operations, or freight forwarding
- Good understanding of logistics processes (road, air, sea, or warehousing)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic CRM systems
- Logistics or Ecommerce background preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B/B2C logistics sales
- Knowledge of local and regional markets
- Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving ability
