Logistics Operations Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Operations Manager located in Lucknow. The Logistics Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day logistics operations, manage supply chain activities, and ensure efficient and effective customer service. This role involves monitoring key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, and analyzing operational data to optimize logistics performance. The manager will also coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless supply chain management and delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Inventory

• Coordinate inward and outward movement with accuracy.
• Transportation & Distribution Planning
• Plan dispatch schedules to ensure timely delivery to customers PAN India.
• Optimize routing and logistics costs across geographies (7 warehouses across India)
• Track vehicle utilization and enforce delivery SLAs.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

• Liaise with 3PL partners, transporters, and courier companies.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and drive accountability.

Process Optimization & Reporting

• Implement logistics best practices for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Maintain daily MIS and logistics performance dashboards.
• Prepare weekly reports on logistics KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per delivery, etc.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with good protocols for nutraceutical and food ingredients.
• Manage shipping documents, invoicing, and e-way bills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field
• MBA/PGDM in Operations (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations; food supply chain experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics tracking tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and optimize logistics performance
