Logistics Manager (Exports)

Job Description

Must be - Well versed in Exports and Freight forwarding in logistics with rate negotiation expertise.

Daily Execution & Carrier Management

Conduct monthly RFQ and forwarder allocation with Head Logistics and Exports team.

Ensure booking copies and containers are arranged for export stuffing.

Ensure direct export stuffing at plants.

Alert stakeholders for containers shipped in case of any ETA changes.

Identify new forwarders/liners for export/import operations as needed.

Cost & Budget Control

Provide inputs to logistics analyst for export freight and inland-import handling budgets.

Identify new liners/forwarders to reduce export freight cost.

Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives in export freight, import freight, and inland handling.

Drive digitization of exports operations RFQ, container allocation, and tracking.
