Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics operations for large-scale projects across India and international regions (APAC, Middle East, Africa). The role involves managing imports, exports, domestic transportation, and ensuring timely delivery with full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics lifecycle (import/export, last-mile delivery, domestic operations)
- Handle high-volume logistics operations (5060 containers/day)
- Plan & execute containerized and breakbulk shipments
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, ports, and transport vendors
- Ensure regulatory and trade compliance across regions
- Oversee ground logistics & last-mile delivery to project sites
- Monitor logistics costs & drive cost optimization initiatives
- Identify risks and ensure on-time project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Projects, Finance, etc.)
- Lead and manage a team of 25 members
Key Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in project logistics / supply chain
- Strong expertise in:
- Imports & Exports
- Last-mile delivery
- Ground/domestic logistics operations
- Regulatory & customs compliance
- Experience managing large-scale/high-volume logistics operations
- Proven team handling experience
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
Preferred Industry Background
- EPC / Infrastructure / Power / Solar / Thermal industries preferred
- Note: Candidates from Pharma or Automotive backgrounds will not be considered
Additional Preferences
- Experience in multi-country logistics operations
- Exposure to heavy-lift / oversized cargo
- Strong vendor & freight forwarder management
