- Global Logistics Operations Management
- 10-17 years experience in logistics
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across international plants and warehouses.
- Ensure seamless execution of inbound, outbound, and intercompany movements.
- Drive dispatch linearity aligned with production and customer commitments.
- Monitor and improve OTDIF performance across regions.
- Proactively manage risks related to delays, capacity, and service disruptions.
- Network Optimization & Strategic Projects
- Lead global initiatives on network design, warehouse optimization, and cost-to-serve improvement.
- Drive supplier consolidation and 3PL strategy.
- Work closely with SCM Excellence, Global Logistics Head on transformation programs.
- Evaluate new warehouse locations and distribution models.
- Logistics Service Provider Management
- Manage global logistics service providers (3PLs, transporters, warehouses).
- Ensure availability, renewal, and revision of contracts and agreements.
- Drive performance reviews and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain governance on contract lifecycle and documentation.
- Drive ageing inventory reduction across global warehouses.
- Cost Management & Budget Control
- Drive category-wise logistics cost visibility across geographies.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and identify gaps.
- Lead transportation benchmarking, RFQs, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure continuous optimization of cost per 1000 units without compromising service levels.
- International Trade Compliance
- Ensure all shipments follow global trade and customs requirements.
- Work with Legal, Quality, and RA teams for compliance.
- Keep all documents ready for audits and reviews.
- Warehousing & Distribution Oversight
- Oversee performance of all global warehouses (Thailand, Netherlands, Indonesia, North America, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with GDP / pharma storage standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive inventory optimization, ageing reduction, and storage efficiency initiatives.
- Digital Transformation & Analytics
- Drive TMS/WMS Implementation & improvements and visibility tools.
- Develop dashboards for dispatch, cost, and service.
- Use analytics for decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with global supply chain, plant, finance, legal, and QA teams.
- Act as central coordination point for logistics.
- Engagement Activities – Logistics & SCM
- Analyze daily/weekly dispatch trends and highlight performance gaps.
- Prepare regional logistics reviews and leadership presentations (NA, EU, APAC).
- Support annual budgeting and planning exercises.
- Lead ageing inventory reviews and drive corrective action plans.
- Manage logistics escalations and issue resolution.
- Drive supplier onboarding, contract renewals, and performance tracking..
- Regional Operations – Thailand & Global Coordination
- Review system transactions for compliance.
- Monitor dispatch schedules.
- Ensure documentation adherence.
10. Meetings & Governance
- Participate in weekly global dispatch reviews, CEO forums, and regional business calls.
- Prepare SCM logistics presentations for leadership reviews.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews with logistics partners (3PLs, warehouses).
India Domestic Logistics & Imports (Added Advantage)
Exposure to domestic logistics operations and import coordination will be an added advantage.
Support cross-learning and backup coverage across logistics functions when required
