The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently seeking an Inbound Delivery Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage transactional activities in SAP, ensuring smooth data flow between suppliers, systems and internal teams.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Create inbound delivery notes in SAP based on shipping documents.
- Maintain SAP handling units, including physical parameters of purchased materials
- Work closely with Transport Planners and provide them with accurate data to ensure timely and efficient transport arrangement.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers, clarifying discrepancies between shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Build strong relationships with Hitachi Energy's purchasing and logistics teams, as well as direct-Material suppliers.
- Coordinate the inbound delivery data flow from purchase order through SAP modules until the delivery is booked.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Should have Bachelor's degree.
- Must have Years of Experience in logistics or purchasing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or purchasing modules.
- Knowledge of transport terminology, regulations and incoterms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Continuous Improvement mentality and mindset.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
