The Logistics Data Analyst Manager is responsible for analyzing logistics and supply chain data to generate actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision making. The role involves managing analytics activities, leading a data analyst team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze logistics and supply chain data
Analyze transportation costs, delivery performance, inventory movement, and warehouse efficiency
Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports
Provide trend analysis, forecasting, and recommendations for process improvement
Prepare MIS reports and presentations for senior management
Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams
Ensure data accuracy, data governance, and compliance with internal standards
Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics data analyst team
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using analytics tools
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools
Working knowledge of SQL (preferred)
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
Forecasting and statistical analysis skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Analyze end-to-end logistics data including pickup, line haul, delivery, RTO, SLA, and cost metrics
Develop dashboards and reports for KPIs such as TAT, delivery success rate, RTO %, first attempt delivery, and OTP failures.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
Master's Degree (MBA / Data Analytics / Supply Chain) preferred.
