Job description:
As the Logistics & Inventory Manager, you'll overseeinventory control, warehouse management, and distribution logisticsto ensure that our products are efficiently stored, tracked, and delivered. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-endinventory and warehouse operations, including stock receipt, storage, dispatch, and returns.
- Implementinventory tracking systemsto minimize stock discrepancies and ensure real-time visibility.
- Coordinate withmanufacturing partners, vendors, and distributorsto ensure timely delivery and replenishment.
- Optimizelogistics costs and delivery timelinesthrough route planning and vendor negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of goods received, shipped, and stored.
- Monitordemand forecasting, reorder points, and safety stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Work with internal teams to forecast sales and align inventory planning accordingly.
- Ensure compliance withhealth, safety, and quality standardsin warehousing and transport.
- Analyze logistics performance and prepare regularinventory and dispatch reportsfor management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree inLogistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience ininventory management or logistics, preferably inFMCG, D2C, or pet careindustries.
- Strong understanding ofsupply chain operations and inventory control systems.
- Experience withERP or inventory management software(e.g., Zoho, Unicommerce, or similar).
- Excellentorganizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and vendor management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in afast-paced startup environment.
