Protouch Staffing is a leading healthcare staffing organization specializing in placing qualified healthcare professionals across the United States. We are committed to delivering timely, reliable, and high-quality staffing solutions to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

We are expanding our Locum Tenens recruitment team and are looking for driven, detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about healthcare staffing and thrive in a fast-paced US recruitment environment.

Position Overview

The Locum Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) for temporary (locum tenens) assignments across the U.S. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship management, and the ability to work in a high-volume, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing

  • Source and identify qualified Physicians, NPs, PAs, CRNAs, and other locum providers through various channels (job boards, databases, referrals, social media, etc.).
  • Screen candidates for clinical experience, state license requirements, availability, and assignment fit.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified locum providers for ongoing and future client needs.

Candidate Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to understand their preferences and availability.
  • Coordinate interviews, credentialing, and onboarding processes.
  • Follow up regularly with candidates to ensure smooth placement and assignment completion.

Client Coordination

  • Work closely with the Account Management and Sales teams to understand client requirements.
  • Present qualified candidates and support client-candidate communication.
  • Ensure timely submission of files and documentation for client review.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Assist candidates with gathering required documents (licenses, certifications, DEA, CV, references, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the credentialing team to ensure all compliance standards are met before start dates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within the ATS/CRM.

Performance & Targets

  • Meet weekly and monthly recruitment KPIs including submittals, interviews, hires, and placements.
  • Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and performance improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (any discipline).
  • 6 months-2 years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment, Locum Tenens staffing, or US Talent Acquisition is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong sourcing abilities with hands-on experience using job boards like Naukri, Monster, Indeed, Dice, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable working in US Night Shifts.
