Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
. Supports the development of effective working relationships and documented Business Continuity plans in conjunction with all functional business areas to support maintenance and implementation of corporate wide Business Continuity program that addresses business recovery and emergency response management
. Deploys Global Business Continuity Strategies across at their assigned loction.
. Provides guidance and direction on physical security compliance requirements and risk mitigation strategies
. Implements safety and security plans to close any potential gaps in the continuity and security controls
. Implements and oversees of processes/procedures relating to the physical security program at their assigned location.
. Implements and oversees of process/procedures regarding the safety and security of employees regardless of their work location
. Supports the implementation of Corporate Security polices, programs and procedures at their assigned location and across their region.
. Partners with local vendors and manages their activities including but not limited to physical security vendors and guard service providers
Operations & Incident Management
. Monitors risks and coordinates activation of Business Continuity and Crisis Response Frameworks
. Supports execution of Business Continuity in their assigned region and supports plan navigation for the business at the time of an event
. Utilizes an appropriate suite of tools to support the execution of the Corporate Security and Business Continuity program.
. Stays abreast of industry changes and monitor best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the program
. Provides support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs
. Supports status reporting on global disaster
. Reports the business continuity status of business units to Business Continuity and Corporate Security management
. Conducts analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and mitigation strategies to issues and develops formal recommendations to the current physical security environment
. Establishes and conducts regular physical security surveys of the organization's key properties in
conjunction with business function leaders and security consultants
. Identifies opportunities and delivers solutions to continuously improve the program and ensure operational readiness through regular crisis exercises
Testing & Training
. Routinely tests and trains onsite security personnel at their assigned location
. Test security equipment for expected operation at their assigned location.
. Conducts security trainings and site reviews
.Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science, Security
Studies, or a related field and/or equivalent job-related experience in a multinational corporate, military, or Law Enforcement.
. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
. Understanding of Business Continuity Management processes and best practices
. Requires robust knowledge of leading practices in Corporate Security management combined with experience in crisis management.
. Requires strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and requires robust knowledge of leading practices in Corporate Security management combined with experience in crisis management and physical security.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Strong organizational skills and a track record of leading a range of tasks and issues simultaneously to a positive outcome and on time
. Strong ability to ascertain and understand all relevant facts and business processes to support analysis of issues
. Excellent proficiency with MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint
. Understanding any of the following is a plus: Business Continuity Software Systems, Mass Communication Software, Physical Access Control Systems, and Video Surveillance Systems
. Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy
. Ability to remain calm during a crisis event
. Special Requirements:
. Certification(s)/designation(s) in related area (Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Disaster Recovery Professional, Certified Protection Professional)
. Ability to work nights and weekends during a crisis event
. Ability to travel - 10%

Summary
Responsible for developing, maintaining and testing Company's Corporate Security and Business Continuity Program in their assigned location in coordination and alignment with the global Corporate Security and Business Continuity Program. Supports all activities necessary to enable the Organization to ensure the safety and security of its employees within their assigned location, manages and coordinates efforts during a crisis event as well as meet compliance requirements for Business Continuity planning. Assists Senior Management, Business Units and Shared Services to ensure their business continuity and crisis management plans are relevant, accurate, up to date, and enacted when necessary.
