Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate or Software Localization Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering and a keen interest in software localization. While prior localization experience is highly preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate solid technical skills and a long-term commitment to growing in the localization field.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering, localization, and QA teams to internationalize and localize software products.

Automate localization workflows using scripts or tools (e.g., Python, VBA).

Manage version control using Git and contribute to a clean and maintainable codebase.

Support API-based data exchange and integration in localization workflows.

Perform quality checks to ensure localized products meet technical and linguistic standards.

Assist in building and maintaining localization tools and internal documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in at least a few of the following: Git, GitHub, JavaScript, JIRA, Jenkins.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willingness and ability to complete a technical assessment as part of the hiring process.

Passion for software localization and commitment to long-term career growth in the field.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in software localization, internationalization (i18n), or localization engineering.

Familiarity with CAT tools, TMS platforms, or localization automation tools.

Understanding of different language encodings and locale-specific formatting.
