Job Title: Loan Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Loan Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in navigating the loan application process, offering expert advice and loan solutions tailored to their financial needs. The candidate will also be responsible for open market sourcing, field visits, and generating new loan business by identifying potential customers and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients financial situations and provide appropriate loan solutions.
• Gather and analyze all necessary documentation from clients.
• Assist clients in completing loan applications and ensure all information is accurate.
• Educate clients on different loan products and their features.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with financial institutions to offer competitive loan products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in loan policies.
• Conduct open market sourcing through regular field visits to identify and acquire potential loan customers.
• Visit local markets, shops, businesses, offices, and residential areas to generate new leads and source prospective clients.
• Identify potential customers for personal loans, business loans, and other applicable loan products.
• Generate leads through direct customer interaction, referrals, and field-level networking.
• Meet prospective clients face-to-face, understand their financial requirements, and explain suitable loan products.
• Build and maintain relationships with local merchants, business owners, self-employed individuals, and other potential customer segments.
• Achieve assigned monthly sourcing targets, lead generation goals, and loan disbursement targets.
• Coordinate with the credit and operations teams to ensure the timely processing of sourced loan applications.
• Follow up with potential customers to convert leads into successful loan applications and disbursements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience in financial services, banking, loan sales, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of loan products and financial regulations in India.
• Experience in open market sourcing, field sales, customer acquisition, and lead generation is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer visits and business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple clients, and achieve sales targets.
• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of independently generating business through field activities.
