We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join our global DevOps organization at Siemens EDA. In this role, you will collaborate with international teams to build, maintain, and enhance infrastructure that powers our product development and delivery across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions supporting global development teams.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust fixes.
  • Work closely with Product Development and QA teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Contribute to best engineering practicescode reviews, testing, documentation, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

  • We are looking for candidates who are Graduates or Postgraduates (Bachelors/Masters) in EEE, ECE, or Computer Science (CS) from top reputed engineering colleges, with at least 2+ years of strong hands-on experience in software development, experience in EDA will be outstanding.
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, Tcl, etc.).
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with containers and troubleshooting containerized environments.
  • Exposure to Linux kernel/module development and open-source tools.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure.
  • Understanding of security, vulnerability management, CI/CD pipelines, and build/release processes.
  • Windows debugging (Visual Studio), software QA knowledge.
  • Ability to manage complex licensing terms and multitask effectively.
