Role Description

We are seeking a Literary Agent - Malayalam to join our team in a fully remote role. The responsibilities include discovering talented Malayalam authors, evaluating manuscripts, managing literary contracts, and collaborating with Narayam, a traditional publishing imprint of Booksthakam, exclusive to Malayalam works to establish publishing opportunities. The role also involves maintaining strong communication with writers, and other stakeholders in the literary domain.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Literary Management and experience in working with manuscripts
• Strong understanding and passion for Malayalam Literature works
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with writers and publishers
• Knowledge of the publishing process and current trends in the literary and publishing industry
• Proven ability to identify and develop literary talent
• Bachelor's degree in Literature, Communications, Publishing, or a related field
