Who we are looking for

The Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Group, within the Global Treasury organization, oversees State Street's liquidity planning, monitoring, methodologies, analytics, and regulatory reporting globally. The group manages regulatory ratios such as the LCR, NSFR as well as the liquidity buffer requirements resulting from its Internal Liquidity Stress testing (ILST) and Recovery and Resolution planning (RRP) framework (RLAP/RLEN). The group is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirement such as the daily FR2052a and associated public disclosures. We work collaboratively with the Global Treasury Risk Management (GTRM) function to ensure we are managing liquidity within firm policies, limits and risk tolerance while meeting regulatory expectations promulgated by the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and other regulators globally.

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President, Liquidity Reporting, who will work closely with the broader liquidity management team and with other Functions across the institution who have input on the liquidity position specifically Treasury Risk Management, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Business Units and second/third line of defense teams.

What you will be responsible for:
Prepare timely and accurate liquidity analyses for senior management and regulatory authorities.

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain liquidity management reports and dashboards, including daily liquidity ratios, stress testing, and FR2052a regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with technology teams to source data, enhance existing reports, and implement new reporting solutions.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management, Liability Management, and business units on liquidity risk strategies and requirements.
  • Ensure documentation and control processes are established and adhered to for all reporting activities.
  • Create presentation materials for executive management and participate in new product assessments to identify liquidity risk drivers.
  • Collaborate with the Stress Testing team to develop, maintain, and recalibrate assumptions related to liquidity metrics.
  • Maintain consistency in data sourcing across the broader liquidity management team.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with specific experience in Treasury Liquidity Reporting, Regulatory Reporting
  • Degree in Finance from a tier one institution or CA/CPA will be preferable.
  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk management principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., FR2052a reporting). .
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, innovative, and a self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative
