Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Linux Admin with DevOps Engineer background and hands-on experience of scripting. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing system configurations, and ensuring the security of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and automate Linux-based infrastructure (CentOS/RHEL preferably).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Write and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and tool integration.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across dev, staging, and production environments.
- Knowledge and experience on data processing and analysis (Splunk preferably).
- Participate security vulnerability discovery and remediation to secure our production environments.
- Manage and operate On-Prem and cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Linux System Administration role with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Hands-on experience of Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distros).
- Hands-on experience of configuration management and automation (Puppet, Ansible or similar tools).
- Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Knowledge and experiences of JSON and YAML data processing.
- Knowledge and experiences of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD...).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Good understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and system monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of RESTful API integration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience of Terraform or other infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Experience of secure software delivery (DevSecOps mindset).
