Job Description

  • Good hands-on experience on Red hat Enterprise Linux V5/6 System administration and troubleshooting.
  • NIS, NFS and SAMBA administration
  • LDAP administration.
  • Troubleshooting on issues belongs to virtual servers
  • RAID and LVM Management
  • Cluster troubleshooting
  • DNS server Administration
  • Apache Server Administration
  • Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
  • To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, Log file rotation.
  • XEN/KVM Administration and troubleshooting Scripting knowledge
  • Hands on experience in physical to virtual server migration.
  • Plan/Schedule/coordinate and implement critical changes
  • Analysis of server performance and Performance tuning
  • Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
  • Strong knowledge for VPN Tunnel.
  • Experience on Jump start installation/Troubleshooting.
  • Manage backup processes and perform data recoveries as needed.
